One of America’s fastest skaters looks to sneak onto the podium on Thursday, as Brittany Bowe faces some tough competition in the Women’s 1,500-meter Speed Skating event at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Brittany Bowe has crossed the Olympic finish line for the final time. Team USA’s Bowe has been the mainstay in women’s speed skating for 16 years. Having made her Olympic debut in 2014 at the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Bowe has now completed her final Olympic race and concluded a career that is as remarkable as it is prolific.
