By Trevor Stynes and Amy Tennery MILAN, Feb 21 (Reuters) - Defending champions Finland swatted aside Slovakia to win the men's Olympic bronze medal on Saturday, scoring four goals in the final period to see off the bronze medallists from four years ago in a 6-1 win at Santagiulia arena.
Finland defeated Slovakia 6-1 for the bronze. Rantanen, who won his first Olympic medal, leads the Dallas Stars with 69 points (20 goals, 49 assists) in 54 games. He won gold with Finland at the 2016 World Junior Championship and silver at the 2016 World Championship.
Team Finland's men's team won the Bronze Medal in Milano Cortina. Teuvo Teravainen is coming back to Chicago with some good hardware.
Finland won 6-1 in the bronze medal game against Slovakia at the 2026 Winter Olympics. It now has five medals in the six Olympics using NHL players.
