Stammering, also known as stuttering, is a speech disorder in which a child has difficulty speaking fluently. It may involve repetition of sounds, syllables, or words, prolongation of sounds, or pauses while speaking. Stammering is common in children during early speech development and, in many cases, improves with proper guidance and timely support.
